I live in Knoxville, Tennessee with my husband Chad and our fraternal twin girls Catherine and Eleanor. At around 4 weeks my daughter Catherine or “Cate” as we call her was diagnosed with a related disorder of 4p-. She does not have WHS but has a interstitial/ proximal deletion of 4p. We just had a new chromosome study done on her and found out that she also has a small deletion on 8p as well. Cate is now five years old and is non- verbal and non – mobile. She is for the most part very happy, and very stubborn! Being a part of this support group has been a wonderful experience for me. I have met so many amazing families and hope to provide support to those who find themselves in this same situation as we did five years ago.
